While most vendors attend every market, some take a week off here and there. At any time during the market season, you can visit our home page for a weekly list of vendors scheduled to attend. Vendors who always have a varied attendance schedule are noted below.
Bodacious Bakehouse will be bringing their freshly baked, handmade artisan breads and pastries to the market again this season! The Bodacious Bakers pride themselves on fresh-from-the-oven taste, with no additives or preservatives. Look for several varieties of bread—both crusty artisan style breads and old-fashioned, soft loaves of white and wheat. They also bring a variety of cinnamon buns, scones and croissants. “Good bread is the most fundamentally satisfying of all foods; and good bread with fresh butter, the greatest of feasts.” – James Beard
Located in Virginia Beach, BowWowMeow Baking Co. offers all natural treats for your furry family members. Their treats are made from simple, wholesome, healthy ingredients--a world apart from the dye-, chemical- and preservative-filled treats found on grocery store shelves. The flours used are made from organic, non-GMO whole grains (oat and brown rice). BowWowMeow uses fresh local farm eggs, local honey, and their peanuts and all natural peanut butter come from nearby Suffolk, VA. BowWowMeow Baking Co. never uses wheat, corn, soy (all common allergens for dogs) or anything artificial.
Chef Sydney Meers may have hung up his apron temporarily when he closed his iconic restaurant Stove back in 2018, but you can't keep him out of the kitchen for long. Each week Sydney comes to the Market with an array of neo-southern and gourmet goodness from his line of Cowboy Syd's Products. Chef Meers has been well known and loved by the Hampton Roads culinary community for many years. He has the distinction of having been a 2016 Mid-Atlantic Best Chef Semifinalist for the James Beard Award of Excellence. These days he is taking a step back from a very successful 45-year restaurant career, which includes his legendary eateries The Dumbwaiter, Cowboy Syd's and, most recently, Stove, in Port Norfolk, to bring unforgettable items from his kitchen and farmette to you at the Hampton Blvd Farmers Market. At the market, he will be offering many of the items used in dishes at his restaurants over the years--including his Cowboy Syd’s World Famous D'lish Sauce (aka "16 oz of Glory in a bottle"), his "Not Hot" Pepper Sauce, two varieties of his famous cured hams (one a salt cured country style ham, and the other a fast, wet cured tasso-style ham he calls his "Smoochie Bear Ham"), heirloom grits that are ground to his specifications, his signature coffee beans, his popular hamburger relish, his signature spice mix, and his 15 year-old barrel aged vanilla extract. And NEW offerings to try this year— Syd’s amazing smoked pork barbecue, ham salad, white wine and red wine vinegars made with Chatham Vineyard wines from the Eastern Shore, and savory petite pies for dinner—enjoy tomato, basil & balsamic or smoked tomato & sausage!
Crunchy Carrot is a local cold pressed juice business located inside Leaping Lizard Cafe at 4408 Shore Drive in Virginia Beach. Their cold-pressed method is the most nutrient dense way to consume juice, as it helps enzymes become easily accessible to the body. Their locally sourced ingredients will alkalize the body while boosting the immune system, metabolism, and energy levels! Come have a sample at the market to find your favorite blend.
After many requests from friends, Terry Nelson started offering her cakes for purchase in 2007, and Dessert Classics was born. By 2009, her cakes were selected for the "Virginia's Finest" award, placing her cakes among "the best of the best" of Virginia-made products. Her business has grown into a line of signature cakes, cupcakes and mini tarts, and she also offers a truly delicious all natural lemon curd, as well as lime curd. Her top selling cakes are Chocolate Buttermilk Cake, Vanilla Pound Cake, Pumpkin Cake and Classic Rum Cake. The Vanilla Pound Cake pairs beautifully with all the fresh berries and peaches as they come into season. One of her newest creations is her Holiday Fresh Fruit Fruitcake! In the Fall, she bakes up sweet potato and pumpkin pies that are to-die-for. Terry is also known for her hand-sculpted sugar art cake decorations, which are perfect for showers, weddings, holiday meals and other special occasions. Be sure to stop by to see Chase from East Coast Herbal Solutions, so he can explain all the benefits of his handcrafted Yerba Maté teas—the nutrition of green tea, the energy of coffee, and the euphoria of dark chocolate. He calls it OverAchieving Tea. From decadent Coco Butter Tea to Strawberry Crush Tea to Espresso Tea, he has something for everyone. He wants to “Change The Way You See Tea.” His fresh cold brew teas will also be available!
The mission at Eggleston is to provide education, training, and employment for people with disabilities. The Urban Farm provides a beautiful environment in which to address this mission, while also giving back to the community and contributing to a healthier food system and environment. Located right in the heart of Norfolk on the corner of Church and 26th Streets, the Eggleston Urban farm grows a unique variety of fruits and vegetables to feed the surrounding community. In addition to familiar favorites, look for hard-to-find items including figs, cress, fennel, jujube and native plants. Heirloom tomatoes are their biggest seller. They will also have spring vegetable starts. Does not attend every week but does participate 3/4 of the time.
Empowered Plant Cakes specializes in whole food cakes and confections without compromising flavors. Made from nutrient dense ingredients such as raw nuts and seeds, they make guilt-free treats. 100% plant based, gluten-free, raw and refined-sugar-free. Flavors will vary weekly, such as Chocolate Peanut Butter, Lavender Lemon, Blueberry Almond Swirl, Salted Caramel Chocolate Vanilla, Key Lime or Lemon, Fig & Raspberry Chia.
We are happy to have the Wilson family from Full Quiver Farm in Suffolk joining us at the market once again this year! They will be bringing grass-fed beef, pasture-raised chicken and eggs, pastured lamb (limited quantities), and delicious pork and sausages. And you can cross dinner off your list at their "Farmer's Grill," featuring sandwiches made with their delicious meats, as well as their popular “sausage pops.” Their goal is to bring environmentally responsible "clean" food to your table. Non-GMO, organic methods, no hormones, no pesticides, no herbicides. Introduce your family to “clean eating!”
Hampton Roads Winery is a family-owned winery located in Surry County. They specialize in Bordeaux and American varieties, with over 11 acres of vines planted in 2 vineyards. It is also the home of red Angus cattle and Nigerian Dwarf goats, who live in the World's Tallest Goat Tower. Also try their Drunken Goat Wine Slushie Mix—perfect for a hot day. Attends once monthly.
Monica serves up all natural gourmet pops, crafted by hand with joy! Watch for flavors such as Orange Mango, Watermelon Basil, Mexican Chocolate, Peach Jalapeño, Cookies & Cream and Pineapple Coconut. Many flavors are gluten free, dairy free and vegan. Bring some home on ice to stash in your freezer for a hot day.
It’s a family affair at Klassic Doughnuts. The Hochstetler family makes their dough, hand-shapes the doughnuts, and frys them right before your eyes. These are doughnuts you won’t soon forget—fresh and hot. Their specialty is their glazed yeast doughnut, but they offer a couple of other seasonal flavors, too. They also make old-fashioned, fresh-squeezed lemonade to order—perfect for a summer day!
Liliana Produce has been family owned and operated on 30 acres in Westmoreland County, VA for 20 years. They will be bringing a wide variety of fruits and vegetables to the market weekly. In the spring, they will also have vegetable and flower seedlings, as well as hanging baskets. Beautiful, bright flower bouquets will be available in the summer months. They love getting to know their customers, so stop by to say hello and see what they bring each week.
Looking for a snack while you shop? LMNz Twizted Pretzel has you covered. They will be bringing freshly made, hand-rolled soft pretzels from their Hampton bakery. Enjoy a classic salted soft pretzel, or try a sweet or sweet & salty pretzel from a rotation of various flavors, such as salted caramel, sugared cinnamon chip, or salted chocolate chip. Three flavors offered at each market they attend. Attends bi-weekly.

The Beltran family takes pride in putting in the long hours and hard work it takes to bring truly fresh, quality produce to the market for you each week. They get a jump start on things each spring by starting as much as they can in their greenhouses before planting on 150 of their 265 acres. They grow many varieties of vegetables, fruits and herbs. You’ll see them bring everything from asparagus in the spring to pumpkins in the fall, all grown on their farm in Westmoreland County, VA.
Pasta e Pani has been a well-established restaurant in Virginia Beach for over 25 years. In August 2018, the restaurant was purchased by Salvatore Robilotta, and it continues to earn rave reviews from customers. Chef Salvatore and his culinary team bring us fresh pastas, delectable pasta sauces, fresh hand-pulled mozzarella, Italian bread, Salvatore's nona's meatballs and more! Born in Naples, Chef Salvatore makes everything in the Italian tradition--from scratch, using traditional family recipes. We see many delicious (and easy) Italian dinners in our future!
Red Mushroom Brewing Company brews Kombucha, a lightly carbonated probiotic tea, at their studio/brewery in Norfolk. Kombucha has been around for centuries and its popularity has surged in recent years, as it is believed to be beneficial for digestion, your immune system and more. They were the first Kombucha brewery in the state to receive the "Virginia's Finest" commendation. Stop by to sample their current selection of flavors, some made with locally sourced fruit and botanicals. Sip a glass, take home a few bottles, or fill a growler to go!
We are happy to have Sunshine Farm and Apiary join us at the market again this year! Jennifer is a local beekeeper selling local raw honey, cut comb honey, gourmet flavored creamed honeys, beeswax cakes, and handmade soaps and body scrub made using bee products. Handmade pottery honey pots along with a jar of local raw honey make a great gift! Their USDA-inspected hives are located in Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Suffolk. They also offer the sale of live bees to other beekeepers, with pickup at their home location. Sometimes they bring an observation hive to the market. Come down and visit them to see what all the buzz is about.
The Creative Wedge is a local specialty retail store, located at Hilltop Shopping Center in Virginia Beach, whose goal is to promote awareness of American artisanal food and craft, including artisan cheeses. They are well known for their housemade cheese spreads, particularly Sloane's Smoked Gouda Dip, the top seller, as well as pimento cheese and others. In addition, they offer a variety of regional artisan cheeses. If you are entertaining, you want to be sure to stop by their tent! Their Chow Chow, available in both mild and hot, is a condiment you’ll want to use on everything from dogs & burgers to greens, beans and deviled eggs. They also bring Virginia peanuts and locally made Speedy's hot sauces and bloody Mary mix. Attends about 2/3 of the markets.
Robin is a farmer/florist bringing you the freshest, locally grown, artfully arranged flowers, as well as a full line of all natural body care. Robin's flower farm is on the Chesapeake/Portsmouth border and her blossoms are grown without synthetic fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. When she is not coaxing blooms out of the ground and into vases, she loves to create "garden inspired" soaps, lotions, and all manner of balms out of plant based oils, essential oils, and local beeswax. Attends bi-weekly.
As a working woman, wife and mother of two, Tonya Newsome had acquired over 20 years of cleaning and housekeeping experience. While maintaining her own home and others, she began to experience skin irritation and respiratory issues caused by the harsh chemicals from the everyday cleaning products being used. The Neighborhood Harvest is a hydroponic farm in Suffolk that delivers lettuces, greens, herbs, microgreens, produce and even eggs, bread, Virginia-sourced milk and other specialty items and prepared foods--right to your doorstep (home or business)! Not everyone can make it to the market every week, and this is a great way to still have access to fresh, locally farmed food. It's also a salad-lover's dream come true! They carry just about anything you'd want to make an array of amazing salads, including a signature line of dressings. Everything they grow is non-GMO and pesticide-free. Choose only the items you want, as well as the frequency of delivery.
The philosophy at The Rustic Tart is that everything you eat should be amazing. And they express this through making PIE. All kinds of pies! They will be bringing both sweet dessert pies and their savory Tomato & Gruyere Pie—perfect for supper with a farmers market salad, or enjoy it for breakfast or lunch the rest of the week! When not at the market, you can find them at their charming shop on Granby Street downtown.
